Jude Walsh has, from a young girl, loved working with fabrics, colour and enjoyed sewing, under the influences of her mother & grandmother, completing a two year full-time Certificate in Fashion Technology course after High School. Gaining much experience as a professional dressmaker, designing and sewing a portfolio of garments for a former Miss Australia, and working with complete bridal parties – making for the bride, her bridesmaids and flower-girls – to creating the gentlemen’s matching bowties & cummerbunds. Having also designed and sewn her own young children’s clothing, from babies to young teenagers, it’s more than satisfying to sew and create wearable garments for others.

‘Jemima Jack & Me’ is the culmination of much experience with sewing and pattern-making, using fabrics and colour to design and sew handmade, quality cotton garments. Under her own label, Jude Walsh is now delving back into her passion with a love of sewing using natural fibres, to create beautiful children’s wear ranges for newborns, boys and girls sourcing mostly 100% cottons, or as natural a fibre and trims as possible, for comfortable wearing with the latest designer fabrics & unique fabric ranges. With a mix & match approach most garments can be teamed with others in the range to create a unique outfit – ‘Jemima Jack & Me’ is proudly affiliated with the Australian Made Campaign.
